Integrated Surge Tank Benefits

Thankfully, the surge tank design takes this into account, using a lift pump located in the rear of the OEM sub-tank to maintain volume. The included lift pump mount snaps onto three sides of the sub-tank, acting as a baffle to ensure your lift pump always has fuel.
How It Works
The 1" check ball in the system allows fuel to flow in during acceleration while trapping it during deceleration. The lift pump sends low-pressure, high-volume fuel into the surge tank via a special deflector, which evenly disperses the fuel and prevents air bubbles. When the demand for fuel is low, the canister overflows back into the OEM sub-tank, keeping everything balanced.
