The Eventuri EVE-W192-FTR is a meticulously engineered replacement air filter designed specifically for the Eventuri Carbon Intake System. This filter stands out due to its unique, patent-pending reverse mounted configuration, setting it apart from standard offerings in the market.
Design and Construction
The filtration medium is crafted from a double-layered non-woven mesh, rigorously tested to ISO 5011 standards, ensuring it meets or exceeds OEM filtration performance. This dry filter design eliminates the risk of damaging MAF sensors typically associated with oil-based filters.
Flow Dynamics
Two flow directing cones are integrated into the design to optimize airflow:
- Internal Cone: This component is engineered to direct incoming airflow through the filter, creating an even velocity profile across the filtration material. The design minimizes turbulence, promoting efficient airflow.
- External Cone: CNC machined with a specialized profile, this cone is optimized to draw airflow towards the center, facilitating a smooth transition into the downstream tubing. It generates a controlled turbulence region that enhances airflow velocity, improving engine performance.
